Week Four

On to week four! Fourth of July! I am writing this a bit late, now I better than never!

Our July 4th was spent in Sierra Vista with Nana and Auntie Erin. We survived the fireworks during a small break in the monsoon rains. A nice mist came down while we all were hurdled under umbrellas.

The rest of our trip was spent in the pool (when it wasn't raining)

Makayla and Samantha also had the chance to learn more about Sean's father. We visited the vault where his ashes are located. We had the opportunity to teach the girls more about life. They seemed to understand. Even though it's not an easy subject to talk about, we felt like it was something that had to be done. It went pretty well.

Here's more photos from our trip:

Above: some sparklers on our last night there.

Above: Spike loved the trip!

Oh! On one of our days, we had a lunch date. Sean got to try on some spiffy looking cowboy hats. I can't decide which one I like best! (Or neither).
